Slow heartbeat

A little worried and just needed either a pick me up... or prayers... or just the plain truth. With both my previous children while I was pregnant I bled nothing real crazy, but definitely more than spotting to the point I was thinking I was having light periods and with my mini right now same thing the only difference I’m 37 now so things hit me differently. I went to Er and they did my first ultrasound. I’m around 7 weeks and mini me’s heart rate was 79 bpm. Everything else looked good. Basically the doctors gave me the this could go either way speech. Does anyone else have stories about how the babies heart rate was slow and then it got better or even if it didn’t. Part of me believes everything is ok but the other part wants me to get myself prepared if it goes a different way. Another thing my hcg levels slightly went down as well not a huge drop but a drop all the same. I was told tho that by week 8 they kind of level off but was told I need to take another test on Monday... any kind words or just reality words would be appreciated.
