When did you know?

If you have met the man/woman of you're dreams. When did you know? When did you realize that this was the person you'll spend the rest of you life with?

I sort of knew right away but tried to chill myself out because I didn’t want to move too fast & somehow screw it up. We met on OKCupid, we were 98% match on there. We messaged back n forth for a week & then we had our 1st date. I’d never felt more physically attracted to someone in my entire life & I was 35 when we met so that’s saying something. Our 1st date was 3 hours of just talking, two days later our 2nd date was 7 hours of talking & a couple of meals. Within 2 weeks we had both shut down our profiles & decided to be exclusive. We always had interesting things to talk about, he made me laugh constantly, it just felt easy. I would feel like crying after he dropped me off at my house after dates because it just felt wrong to be apart. I knew I loved him during the 1st night I spent at his house. I was laying next to him in bed sleepily staring at the back of his head (he was already asleep) & I just felt such peace. 
I didn’t know for sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him until I got to know his son who was 3 at the time. I think it was about 4 or 5 months in to our relationship & we had taken him to the public pool. We were all laughing & splashing & I was holding his son & bouncing up & down in the water & just suddenly had the thought “This feels like family”
In November we celebrated 7 years together/6 years married & we have an almost 4 year old daughter who adores her big brother. :)

He became my best friend, literally. He was supportive in ways only my family or really close friends have been. He put in tons of effort and was always willing and wanting to make me happy. When we first met i was extremely reluctant to date and didnt.... after several months of my “rejection” he said that he didnt care if we dated or not  but he knew “i was the type of person you keep in your life” after that we were inseperately. We strived through lomg distance and both put in effort and sacraficed.

When he walked past me and I couldn’t get the guts to even talk to him. 
We were 15 and he never saw me but I saw him for a week and was too shy to say anything. I’m not a shy person I’m direct and bold. But with him I absolutely could not.

After a couple of months, maybe before. We met in tinder, after our first night ( he was in town for work/ weekend) , he left and we kept texting and calling each other about 3 or 4 times a day every day. I visited him to his town, after we survived 10 days in quarantine together. I left back home and I knew he was the one 🥰❤️. He didn’t want to leave Alaska at all work/friends/life, so I took the risk and I left Vegas. We are living together since July, I brought my cat and everything to his house. Every single day and night, I’m more and more in love with him... and I know he is too.

It was our first in-house date. She was cooking steak and lost in her passion of cooking. I was staring at her working away at dinner. She was trying to impress me, it was sweet. But watching her ... something just clicked for me. I knew she was it. Like the whole shebang, everything I wanted.

When he took me to meet his family & it literally just felt right. I get along with all of his sisters, we have very similar styles, I get along with his friends, who have become OUR friends. I take care of him & want to be that person he goes to. It just felt right when I met his family & they immediately included me in as one of their own.
