Am I fucking up my own new year?

All 32 nye I have cried because of disappointment. People flaked. This and that

So finally I have someone to share it with today. So I text him and ask do he have the money for the room. He says I have to cover it because what he need to do at the bank to get the money he needs a appointment. I think it’s will money he got left with. Anyway I semi trust he will pay me back but most people in my past who owe me money don’t offer to pay back when they get it. Only when I keep bugging them for it.

So should I just trash today all together and stay home? Or should I just suck it up and pay and try and have a good time?
