Is this normal?

I'm 17 weeks. I've been having a sharp pain off and on in the same spot of my stomach for the last two days but it seems to be getting worse. The pain is just right of my bellybutton and comes and goes very quickly for several minutes before it stops, only to come back again after an hour or so. Sometimes it's just a little discomfort and other times it's painful. I kind of want to go to the ER but I don't want to go if it's normal.
