PLEASE READ: D&C QUESTIONS and fertility advice

So I've been TTC for about 8 months now after my very first pregnancy ended as an ectopic and removal of my left fallopian tube. The last 4 months have been having horribly irregular periods. Instead of not getting one, I was constantly bleeding. Anywhere between 14- 28 days each month. I got some testing done and was told multiple cystic areas and a thickened endometrium. I am only 29 and really want to start a family with my husband. Dr. said I will likely have a D&C done to remove the lining and cysts and have them tested for cancer. Who has had one. What can I expect? Will it effect my fertility? How long before I can try again. Anything will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
