Nap issue?? 2 to 1 nap?

Anyone else have a baby that takes 2 naps a day and is starting to fight the first nap?? The last few days my baby has been refusing his first nap but sleeping for 1.5-2 hours for his afternoon nap. I feel like he’s too young to be only taking one nap a day?? He sleeps 12-13 hours at night so I’m not complaining just confused lol he’s 9 months old

While 9 months is early for 1 nap if he’s taking better/longer naps when you offer one I would just switch him especially if his night sleep is really good.

He has. A lot of things going on at this age that could be affecting his nap, most of which are likely temporary so I would not cut the nap yet. Keep his routine the Same, dont switch stuff up or try new things/methods. If he’s still fighting it daily after two weeks of consistency, then it may be time to try something new. I would bet he will fall back into his usual schedule soon enough tho.

My son is 10 months (almost 11) and he often takes a long morning nap and then won’t take an afternoon one. He’s always slept through the night so I’m not worried.
