4 month old and solid food.

So, my son is 4 and a half months old. He just had his 4 month check up and his dr gave me the clear to start baby food.

I go to his WIC app and they tell me not to intil hes 6 months lol

I was going to hold off anyway because i just don't feel like hes quite ready yet... he chokes on his own spit still so lol but I just think its crazy to receive 2 different sets of advice.

Another example, my son still wakes in the middle of the night for a feed. Just one. Hos PED said to stop doing it and the dietitian at his WIC office said if hes hungry, feed him.

I suppose my question is, which advice would you take? Who are you listening to?

*** ill say my Dr likely told me to stop feeding at night because my son is literally the weight if a 12 month old.
