Why does my newborn love his dad more?

I always thought the newborn phase my baby is supposed to want me more, but it seems ever since his dad held him for the first time he attached himself to his dad. He will want me for milk, but after he is done he will cry until his dad holds him. He almost never cries with his dad. Does he hate me😞😞😞. I just don't understand what I've done wrong. When I am at home he will cry, eat, and sleep. He is never quiet unless he is eating or sleeping. When his dad gets home he is quiet for him. I thought it was natural for him to bond with me. What am I doing wrong 😞😞😞
