How long will I be in pain from this csection?

I am in complete agony. My c section (1st one) was 4 days ago and Im still in pain. Is this normal? I can barely even lift my legs to get in bed...

It’s been a month since my c section and I can finally walk again. You have to learn how to walk again, your center of gravity is basically your ab muscles so it’s hard to keep balance and your hips/back will hurt for awhile! I still am trying to keep my balance while walking and I still cramp a little where the incision is. My incision got infected and I have an open part of the wound that I have to pack with gauze every 12 hours, other than that, I’ve been okay. I still can’t sit up, I have to sit on my side and use my arm to push myself up. You’ll be fine before you know it!

It took me roughly a week to get off Tylenol and ibuprofen. I was rotating between the 2 every 4 hours. But after that I was having small pains depending on how much I did in my house up to 6wpp. Now I’m 8wpp and have 0 pains at all.

It’s completely normal hun. I was in a lot of pain for about 7 days. Just rest up as much as possible and take pain meds xx

For me, the severe pain was lasted almost 2 weeks but after the first week I was able to come off of the Percocet. In all, I took the Motrin maybe for two weeks after that. I would say look at 3 weeks being uncomfortable but still tolerable. Wearing a belly band helps out a TON ! It “holds” everything in place. 
I know everyone tolerates pain differently, so, I hope you just finds what works best for you. Just remember to take it easy, you seriously just had an abdominal surgery.

Took me about 3 weeks to be back to normal. Walking and getting out of bed was difficult for me. I slept elevated so that I didn’t have to sit up at all, which helped a lot! Rest as much as you can, you’ll heal faster!

Unfortunately it's completely normal. Peeing and pooping will be a challenge for a few weeks. Lifting the legs is painful because you feel that the stitches tight. It'll take around two weeks for you tio be able to m lift both of your legs more comfortably.  Keep calm :). It's already hard enough because you have ti look after baby with very little sleep, the c section adds to that.  But it will get better.  :). Mine was 7 weeks ago. Planned c section. Still not fully healed :)

12 hours after my c section I was up walking. I said f this I’m not sitting around with me ass killing me from not walking plus I needed a shower ASAP! I was like yeah.... no this won’t do lol. They gave me an OxyContin before bed, and they gave me another in the a.m and when I asked the nurse to help me up she was like “you are crazy! But if you feel up to it by all means we can try” and It took a few tries getting outta that horrible hospital bed, but I did it, hopped in that
Shower and felt so good after. I didn’t use the shower seat they gave you (even when I was supposed to... oops lol) but only because i just needed the hot water to beat down my back, after you get the epidural you definitely have some back pain. My son is almost a year in 3 weeks and I still get back pain. I’m not gonna lie, the pain during healing process SUCKS ASS but if you keep yourself going and motivated and not sit around a lot you won’t stiffen up, you’ll help your muscles move back into place and it helps with circulation in your ankles and feet as well! Just remember to always take a break don’t over do it! I felt great within 3 weeks pp.

I was in pain for nearly 6 weeks. Most people feel better before that though. I was just unlucky
