What to do with children’s books

I’m purging my kids stuff and I’m into the books.  My son has outgrown story books and is now onto chapter books but my daughter is only 18 months so she’s a little young for the books yet.  Do I hang onto them all for her or weed out my favs and donate the rest.  There’s probably well over 100 books lol. They consist of the little golden books, Arthur, Clifford the big red dog, curious George, berenstein bears, I spy, and then a bunch of the real aft to read books in stages 1, 2, and 3

I’d hold onto them for the next child. After that I’d donate. Definitely look for new teachers who are trying to build their classroom libraries. As a former elementary teacher, books are expensive but so necessary it’s one of the biggest expenses I had.

Keep them for her. Then keep the ones in good condition for grandkids down the road!

I’d hang on to them until your youngest is finished with them. Then you could hold on to a couple of favourites for sentimental reasons/passing on to grandkids/using when younger kids come to your house and just donate the rest.

I hang onto to the ones I like or my first liked. There were quite a few that we were both blah about so those I donated.
