I feel like my new boyfriend doesn’t want to have sex with me

I have been seeing a guy since October 10th, it started off as a one night stand at a small gathering of friends where we slept together 4 times in one night to turning into a full blown relationship, I’d say we are both pretty smitten. He treats me the best I’ve ever been treated, he tells me he loves me all the time, he makes effort with my friends/family and he is all round just amazing. The only thing is, he doesn’t seem to initiate sex. I am at the stage in the relationship where I just want to jump on him all the time and I feel like I’m begging for it if I’m to initiate it all the time and I want it to just happen rather than it being a planned thing but then I’m worried it wouldn’t happen at all. I had the coil fitted around a month ago and I have been spotting ever since and my other half has said that it hurts slightly during intercourse since my coil fitting. I notice that he is still masturbating while I’m in the house so he still has a sex drive obviously but I just don’t understand why he wouldn’t try it with me prior to sorting himself out? I’m I overthinking it? I’ve brought it up a few times and he says it’s nothing to worry about but I just want good sex in my brand new relationship!!!
