how to get rid of hair on the lips?

I am 18 and I have hair on the lips part of my vagina and was wondering how do I remove the hair on this part? I shave my pubic area on a regular basis, all except for the problem hairs. I can't use a razor because there is a very high risk of me accidentally cutting this part and hair removal cream is dangerous to put there. I've tried pulling it out with tweezers, but it hurts because of the super sensitive skin. I want to get rid of this hair because it itches and I am embarassed about the hair if I end up having a sexual partner before it clears up. Does anyone know how I could remove this hair?
