What does you pet mean to you?

Me and my mom picked up our pup a week after my grandfather (my moms dad) died. He helped us cope with the tragic loss. Mom named him Papi, the Spanish word for dad, because he did and still does remind us both of my grandfather, especially in how silly, sleepy and curious he is.

My babies are basically my furry kids. They get treated no different from an actual human kid. Having them keeps me calm and determined. They provide me with a sense of dependency and are therapists to me on the daily. I love them and I wouldn't know what to do without them❤️

My fur baby is my therapy. He's always there for me when things go wrong. He always knows when I'm upset and needs cuddles. He is my everything. He's seen me go through two bad relationships and is always there for me when I need him the most. I love him to death and couldn't have made it this far without him. I love my Smokey. He's a ragdoll cat.

My baby Zeus means everything to me! He brings up my spirits every day before leaving to work and coming home from work/school. I can't imagine any part of my life without him ☺️ he just turned 3 years old

My rescue pit mix is the most important being in my life. He is the live of my life (and my husband's we clearly love him more than each other lol). Now that we're expecting our first child in January people keep saying Peyton has a wake up call coming, meaning he'll be second best. Nope, he's my first baby, he's what made me want a baby of the human variety. Lol he'll be an excellent big brother and he'll still get all the love he gets now, more because he'll have a little sister who lives him too! Here he is checking out all of Amelia's stuff from the shower.

My dogs are my babies with fur. Now that im pregnant, they are still always gonna be my babies. My reagle(rottie and beagle) is almost 6 yrs old and ive had him since he was 12 wks old. My two chihuahuas are just the same, both almost three and had them since pups. I talk to my dogs and cuddle and console them, especially Rosco( reagle) because he had bad anxiety and has panic attack. They get treated just as a person would.
