Sudden recurrent yeast infections

For the past 2 months, I’ve suddenly developed recurrent yeast infections in the days/weeks leading up to my cycle. The dr prescribed me diflucan, and the infection cleared up within a few days both times. The first time I had the pill for 1 day and the second time for 3 days. This happened in Nov. and Dec.

My cycle is due to come in 9 days and I’m starting to experience the symptoms again (thick clumpy odorless white discharge that looks “stuck” inside my vagina, and slight itching/irritation). In the past 3 months, I’ve gone from never having yeast infections in my 30 years to now having one monthly.

I have a call back in to my dr to discuss this, but I wanted to know if anyone ever experienced this?
