Pregnancy Events during Pandemic

Hi Ladies,

For those of you were pregnant or currently pregnant during Pandemic, how did you handle your reveal and shower events? My husband and I are having a slight disagreement on how to do our reveal when the time comes.

Were you entirely virtual?

Did you have an in person invite or hybrid? If so, what precautions did you take and how many people in person?

I feel like every precaution we would take outside with family is fine but now I’m concerned 17 people is too much even if spread out. And this would literally be for 5-15 minutes outside with us popping the reveal - no food to eat no other party celebrations and still separating respective sides across to restrict intermingling. My husband is getting frustrated because he misses his family and believes we should be fine with all the precautions in place and outside.

Now I’m question doing it at all and transition entirely virtually because safest but he doesn’t want that as will come again he doesn’t spend any time with his family even a little in person.

I’m trying not to stress myself out about this, but considering the time we’re in right now trying to satisfy everyone and everything. I’m fine and already accepting of a virtual baby shower, but it’s just reveal itself as important that we’re disagreeing how to handle.

Thoughts? Advice?
