3 hr glucose test

So I go for my 3 hour glucose test on Wednesday since I failed my 1 hr by 10 points. Yes I did fast the night before. I’ve never really had any health issues before other then mitral valve regurgitation so I’m pretty nervous about this test especially because I keep hearing horror stories about what happens if you do have GD. This is my first pregnancy so I’m not too sure what to expect beside I’m sure drinking this lovely stuff won’t make me feel great as I struggled the first time. Anyone have any positive stories or any insight on this
