Breastfeeding while pregnant?

So I found out this morning that I’m pregnant again but I’m still currently breastfeeding my son. Curious if any of y’all have continued breastfeeding while pregnant before? I’m not sure how I’m going to go about weaning him since he basically will walk over and yank a boob out whenever he wants it..

I breastfeed my son up until my daughter was born. I breastfed him at least once when I got home from the hospital but when my milk came in he decided he was done. He self-weaned sooo easily and kept my nipples in breastfeeding shape which I think really helped baby sis. It worked out awesome! I was willing to tandem feed but didn’t end up that way.

My son basically self weaned when I got pregnant because my supply quickly dropped. I also wasn’t interested in continuing at that point, so I didn’t try anything to increase my supply. He eventually started to bite when I would nurse him because he was so annoyed with the lack of milk and that was that!

You should be able to breastfeed while pregnant, unless you have chances of going into preterm labor. Always consult with your doctor because everyone is different.

I’m currently 30 weeks. I found out at literally 4 weeks I was pregnant( apparently it’s possible) and within 2 weeks my supply had dropped to 2 oz per pump on both sides so I quit when my son was 6 months
