When did your baby stand/walk?

When did your baby start to stand independently? 
AND 
When did they start to take a few steps independently? 
My daughter is 1 on the 20th January and she will stand for about 5 seconds but isn’t taking any steps or standing for periods of time on her own. 
I’m a first time mom.

Hi hun , I’m a mother of 4. My youngest just turned 10 months ..: My kids were all so different in reaching their milestones .. My eldest walked at 10 months and my 3rd son walked at 1.4 years . My youngest just started pulling her self up where as my 3 boys were standing unassisted at this age ... PLEASE DON’T WORRY IF YOUR BABY IS BEHIND .. Babies reach their milestones when they are ready in their own little time ... God Bless you hun .

They can start to walk anywhere from 9 to 15 months. 
My son is 13 months and refuses to take more than five steps. He will sit down and crawl the rest of the way.

My LO was cruising at 8 months, stood independently for a few seconds (when he let go of furniture) at 10 months but did not walk until 17 months. He was and still is a very cautious child and won’t do anything physical (climbing things, going down slides, etc) until he’s sure he can do it and it’s 100% safe.

Every kid is different. As a mom who had an early walker take it while you can get it. I've been chasing my oldest around since he was 11 months old. He took his first steps and two weeks later was running. My nieces didn't walk until they were over 1. My 8 month old is currently trying to pull himself up to standing but I'm not rushing it.

My daughter started standing and taking steps at 7 months and was fully walking 2 weeks later. Although she would fall lol it was cute.. Don't rush your baby every child is different and remember once they start walking the more stuff they get into.

Finally started crawling at 9 months, standing and furniture surfing around 10 or 11 months. He'll be 15 months in a week or so and he just started letting go and walking without holding on last week.

I have two kids, but one who’s walking. He took steps along the couch since 10 months and randomly decided to get up on his own and walk 4 days before his 1st birthday. It isn’t anything we expected. He was overtired and just started standing up and taking steps. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We cheered him on and he practiced for an hour or so that night. It took him probably a week to master walking and after his birthday, he turned into a runner. 😂 I had no idea he was going to walk because he hadn’t really shown interest.

my daughter has been standing independently and can keep her balance quite well since 7 mo shes 9mo now. she can stand for a long time and even stoops herself down to regain balance and then stands back up but she refuses to take steps, she will with us but not on her own unless she’s on the bed she will take one or two steps. the range is very wide for walking some babies don’t walk until their 12-18 mo. keep practicing and working with baby

Some babies take longer to walk mine children all walked at 10 and 11montha my best friends daughter didmt walk till after she turned one some can take up to 18months it's okay each child is differnt dont worry just practice with them

There’s such a range on this. My first started walking at 11 months, and my second took her first steps a few days before 9 months (not consistently walking though at a week or two past 9 months though), but I have several friends whose kids started walking at like 15 months. I wouldn’t worry unless your pediatrician is worried.
