Won’t drink

Question

My 14 month old will not drink cows milk... he is completely bottle broke and formula broke. At first he would chug the cows milk but now as soon as he tastes it he throws it. I don’t want to put him back on formula. Any suggestions?

i would try almond milk, oat milk, goat milk, there are plenty of other milks i wouldn’t go back to formula or toddler formulas. too much sugar and it’s unnecessary.

I watered it down with mostly water and a little milk then slowly increased the milk. But a couple of my kids never took to it. Pediatrician said it's fine as long as they get 2 servings of dairy elsewhere. I looked into almond milk, but they tend to contain sugar and other additives, so we don't use it.

Milk is not a requirement, make sure he has plenty of fat & protein in his diet & add a vitamin D supplement. As another has mentioned, you can try other milks, but he doesn’t NEED it at all. Water is fine as the sole drink choice.

I would throw it if someone made me drink cows milk too! 🤣 Oat, Cashew, Cashew/Almond, Almond/Coconut for me.
