*Update*

My husband and I talked it out and decided not to pursue potty training, but still continue to do his routine with the potty. If that makes sense😂

His morning and nap time and bedtime routine all involve sitting on the potty which he will have a fit if we miss that step. We will just see what he does from there and I realize I may have been pushing him too hard to go. Thank you all for commenting your advice.

Needing potty training advice, my son will be 2 in May and he’s shown interest in using the toilet but always seems to pee anywhere but the potty. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve tried setting a schedule and putting him on it every 20 minutes and I’ve also tried no diaper. He just goes after we get off the toilet. I praise him when he goes in the toilet. He knows peeing or pooping is bad when it not on the toilet cause he will do it and grab himself or point at where he went and say “oh no!” (I don’t scold him when he goes)

I’m due next month and I’m trying to get him potty trained before sister gets here 🤦🏼‍♀️
