Previous (but recent) CMV and becoming pregnant

We recently started trying in October for our 2nd baby. Middle of December I had been sick for a week, got a CT scan finding my spleen swollen and blood work showing my liver enzymes elevated. They tested me for a bunch of different stuff and diagnosed me with Cytomegalovirus Mononucleosis on December 23rd. I know CMV can be dangerous to an unborn baby so we have stopped trying for now. I can’t hardly find anything online about how long you should wait to get pregnant after being infected. The few things I have found say over a year and that’s giving me extreme anxiety as we struggle to get pregnant anyway so waiting a year could mean we might not have a baby for 3 or more years 😭 but of course I don’t want to knowingly endanger my future unborn baby.

I’m posting here because I want to hear experiences some others who may have had it and gotten pregnant or were tested and it was positive for catching it before pregnancy but recently.
