Measuring 3 days behind?

I had my first ultrasound today at what I thought was 6w6d but the tech said it was 6w3d. Is this okay? Or is baby growing too slow or something? Is it possible the measurement could be off a little? We only BD the day I got my positive opk and the day after, which would have put me at 6w6d. Heartbeat was strong at 133bmp and we got to hear it. I had a miscarriage last year and never got to see or hear the baby. I’m still so worried as I had a bit of spotting yesterday.

Very normal. This happens a lot as sometimes people don’t ovulate when they think, even if an OPK was used. The first ultrasound is the most accurate dating tool so there’s a good chance they’ll use that date as your due date (though some docs will keep it at your LMP due date since it’s less than a week difference).

As long as baby measures within a week of where you are supposed to be based of the lmp, the due date will stay the same. I’m 34+2 and my baby is measuring on track now, but at my last appt (30 weeks) he was measuring really really small

They base I’d off LMP so they don’t know when you actually ovulated. Most likely it won’t be spot on. It’s completely normal!
With my first I was off by 2 weeks form LMP, but I knew it and so did my doctor because I tract my cycles and I knew the exact day I ovulated and my doctor checked my chart to confirm.

Yes. My first ultrasound I measured small and then my doctor decided to change my due date by 6 days. The initial due date is based off of your last period but a measurement is more accurate to when you may have ovulated.
