i was not going to let covid ruin this special (first time) moment for me. i’m having one feb 7th.

I am, but it’s a virtual shower, and it got delayed past when we ideally wanted to have one if we were going to. We debated having a small in person one just for friends and people were already around anyways, but decided especially this late in the game our time and energy would be better spent prepping for the baby.

Despite being a first time mom and my son being a baby of IVF and a difficult fertility struggle, we did not have a baby shower. Risking the health of my friends and family was NOT worth it to me. We will hopefully have a big 1st birthday party in July once more people are vaccinated.

My baby shower was supposed to be last April but got rescheduled to may before it got cancelled as an in person shower. People ended up mailing gifts to us and we made a video.

I’ll be having one, covid isn’t a huge issue in Australia

My shower was cancelled because a bunch of my family got Covid. Then we did a drive by one later to make up for it. I didn’t want a drive by shower and wouldn’t recommend it, wasn’t worth it to me and wasn’t really that fun.
