Maternity Leave 🤰🏽

Hey mamas! Hope all is well and everyone is staying safe out there! I was just curious as to when you ladies took off for maternity leave? With my first pregnancy I was excised at 26 weeks due to severe back pain to the point I had trouble walking and sitting so my doctor cleared me. I am pregnant again and I’m 24 weeks and starting to have a little trouble again but doing everything in my power to help it. I started a new job this year and unfortunately won’t meet the 12 month minimum to obtain Family Paid Leave (maternity leave with pay) and during wonderful covid it’s pretty much solely my income. My husband and I switched roles as far as finances. He’s been looking for another job and just hasn’t had any luck. He watches our daughter while I work rn, then when I’m off he goes to work. I’m just stressed out because I wanted to be able to take off at least a little bit of time before this baby comes but I’m pretty much gonna have to work until I’m literally about to give birth. Covid has really messed us up and I’m just stressed 😩 sorry for the rant.
