Another D&C or Misoprostol?!

Today it was confirmed that I had a missed miscarriage- supposed to be 8w 3d but measuring 6w 2d. Never saw or heard a heartbeat. This is my second MMC (first was in July at 11 weeks, measuring 7). For my first MMC I opted for a D&C. Overall it went very well. No pain, light bleeding afterwards for less than a week. Felt great the next day. But it did take 5 months for my period to come back though... which felt like forever when TTC.

Anyways... my question is: Should I get another D&C or opt for the medication route? Has anyone had two D&Cs within 6 months of each other with no complications?! I don’t want to build scar tissue. Also worried about how long it will be until I’ll be able to try again. I feel like I read so many scary stories about the Misoprostol, so I’m very conflicted. My doctor was leaving the decision up to me and said she would be comfortable going either route since I’m so early. Any opinions or similar stories would be much appreciated!! ♥️ Trying to make a decision in the next couple of days. I should note that I also have Factor V Leiden (Hetero), which is to blame for the miscarriages, but not sure how that would blend with the Misoprostol?
