Question - please help

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow in the late afternoon. But I need to bring my urine sample in. I need to use my first pee of the day. I’m wondering what I should do with the urine in the meantime? Do I just leave it at room temperature or just it need to be in the refrigerator?

* I couldn’t ask my doctor today, because when I got the voicemail the office was close already*

I have the cup to pee in I’m just wondering what I’m supposed to do with it until my appt at 3pm.
