Who is scheduling an induction because they want to?

I’m not going past 40 weeks. I’ll be scheduling my induction at 40 weeks. Anyone else doing this? Low risk, induction by choice.

I did it with my first and I will never opt to be induced again. It was awful and after 2 days ended in an emergency c-section

I have had five children currently pregnant with my sixth and I have never been allowed to request my own inductions. Unless there is something medically wrong they wait for me to go into labour naturally. Four pregnancies I was over due.

I did with my second. I was induced with my first (medical reasons) and it went great. My doctor offered to induce at 39 weeks if I wanted to and I said heck yea 😂 second time went even better. If I ever have a 3rd I wouldn’t hesitate to be induced again.

I mean do what you think is best for baby and you. If you want an induction and your doc is on board go for it. My ob won't do inductions for any reason except medical necessity so wouldn't be an option for me even if I wanted that. In the end you know your body and as long as you are told it is safe just do what you feel is best. A lot of people will have opinions I am sure but your body and your choice. I hope your have a great rest of pregnancy and an amazing delivery!!!

If I don’t go into labor on my own before then I will be scheduling my induction at 39+3 days. Baby is big already (35+1) currently and I’m soooo uncomfortable.

I did 🙋🏻‍♀️ I refused to ever go over 40 and I’m glad I never will lol.. I ended up with a CS cause of a car accident at 39 weeks (very minor but baby wasn’t ok with it basically)

Your body, your choice! I did this with my first and did not have a good experience personally. Currently pregnant with #2 and I'm planning on waiting to go into labor if I can, even if I go overdue. You have to do what's best for you though 😊
