Proposing to boyfriend

Have you proposed to your significantother?!? I want to spend the rest of my life with my boyfriend(we have 2 kids already). He has mentioned that it would be super cute if a female proposed to him... soooooo I want/need cute ideas!! Pros and cons of everything. I have super bad anxiety and if he said no, would it be awkward in our relationship? Would it go back to normal if he said no?
