How much all together did you spend on nursery?

Just wondering approx how much everyone spent all together on their baby nursery.

All in all we spent around $5000. We had to get new carpet and paint the walls and trim so that took a big chunk. Crib was $750 and dresser was $300. Got a rocking chair off Amazon for $300. I think those were the big ticket items and the rest of it was decor stuff and necessities

Around 3,000 for both of my babies.  We did have help from family though that offered to buy the cribs and dressers.  If they didn’t offer I would have had to find cheaper alternatives!

I'd say about $3500. Our crib was $1100, dresser with changing table was $950, matress was $75 i think, diaper pail was $80, rug was $200, pictures were about $100, camera was $250, rocking chair was $500. Plus misc things that are in his nursery like books and toys and storage and all that.

Honestly probably too much. New paint and tile cost us probably around $300. Crib was a gift. Changing table was $100. Monitor(s), crib mattress, carpet was probably another $200. Glider was almost $300. Other furniture we got in bulk at a yard sale for $150. Just her closet of clothes though i probably spent close to $1500-$2000 on alone.

Ours will probably end up around $1500 altogether, but we need to update the wiring and trim in the room before we paint, which won't be super cheap even though we're doing it ourselves. Most of the furniture will be secondhand, so the renovation work will be the bulk of the cost.
