New house, Keep furniture

Okay so my husband and I are looking into a house tomorrow. I really love the design of one of the 4 Houses we are seeing/touring tomorrow. We talked about what we are going to offer and he said "if the owners are willing to part with their furniture we should keep it." I said what furniture are you talking about. And he said "the sofa's all 3 of them" (this house has a finished basement with a sofa. And living room with a sofa and a sofa/bench that is built into the wall with a small kitchen table in the kitchen. I said we could keep to kitchen one but I don't want the other 2 because you don't know how well these people keep their stuff and what they do on the sofa. He got upset and said 'we should ask for it, and if they give it to us with the price of the house we can sell it if we don't like it' 🧐 then why keep it if we would sell it anyways? Am I just over reacting? Like I have save everyday for the last 8 months to buy us a new sofa and bed and other house needs? And that means I would have to get rid of my sofa now which I don't mind because it's 4 years old. But Why keep something that could be dirty? It's not like you can deep clean a sofa..😑
