Stool softeners..tmi?

I just wanna say FTM’s take the stool softeners after baby is born!!!!!!! Idk what I was scared of but I didn’t immediately and got hemorrhoids. I didn’t even feel like I was struggling when I went 💩
Anyways I started taking them and it got better when I felt like it never would. 
Just wanted to share while the thought was on my mind lol maybe help someone out!!

I took them immediately and still got hemorrhoids... Although I think the hemorrhoids were more a result of the birth itself. 
The stool softeners definitely did the trick and I also highly recommend them! 😂 I think the one they prescribed to me was called Colace. Great experience. 5/5. 👍👍. No diarrhea, just nice and easy, soft stools. TMI for sure, but hopefully this helps allay someone's fears!

Do you get a prescription for them before the baby or do you get them from the hospital after the baby is born? Ftm and I have no clue😂
