EDIT: Dark brown spotting 7 wks

EDIT/UPDATE:

So I had caved and called my doctor, since the spotting had decreased massively but didn’t completely go away. She told me to come in for an ultrasound to see where it was coming from.

I just got back home. No heartbeat but sac and yolk and embryo were visible. They’re measuring at about 1 week earlier than I am (so 6 weeks). Doctor said the bleeding looks like it came from the embryo lifting slightly. So I go back on Monday to see if we can find a heartbeat, and take measurements again. She said the bleeding could have compromised the growth.

This is my very first pregnancy so I have no idea what to think or expect, so naturally very worried. Can’t help but feel defeated :(

OLD POST:

I know spotting is normal, but in this amount?? I’m 7 weeks and have had spotting but it was a very small amount and not as dark. It was only when I wiped, and about 2 wipes and it went away. I’m so worried 😔
