Does it burn when they give you pitocin through an IV?

Mine didn't burn. I had my iv in my forearm though, not the ditch of my arm or my hand...that may have made a difference?

I don't remember it burning but there was so much going on with Ivs and monitors but I really don't think it burned at all it kinda felt like when they flush an iv.

No......Ive had pitocin with all three of my pregnancies... It was fine.... But everyone is different so.......

My pitocin did not burn, but the penicillin did. A hot pack helps.
