I went to the doctor Tuesday, I'm 30 weeks, but I've been on Bedrest for a shortened cervix.. So at the apt they did a transvaginal ultrasound to check my cervix and you could literally see the baby's head right on top on my cervix.. Now I've been feeling so much pressure on my cervix especially when I pee... Is it too soon for the baby to drop or to be head down right on my cervix? Shouldn't that happen a little later ?

I'm not sure exactly. I was 32 weeks (now 33) when I found out my little girl was head down already. So I wouldn't say it couldn't be possible.

Baby can drop at any point (typically after 30 weeks), but he/she can honestly sit in that position for weeks! My daughter was head down at 30 weeks and "dropped" at 32...sat just like that for 5 more weeks till she decided she was done...

My baby has been head down on cervix since 18weeks putting lots of pressure, was put on bed rest for shortening cervix at 23 weeks..baby is still head down I'll be 29 weeks on Sunday and still on bed rest, Dr said she can stay like that till the end.
