Birthday Blues

My husband is great when it comes to family and friends birthdays. He goes above and beyond for his friends kids birthdays. I do the same for his birthday. I spent $500 last year on his birthday gift. This year for my birthday, he bought me a cake. Its not about the gift, I dont need or want anything. Its about the effort. He does so much for his friends kids, but nothing for me. Christmas is the same way. I guess I'm just a little bummed. I just feel undervalued.
