Constipation and bad cramps

Hi , i would appreciate some help or advice.. I'm 15 weeks almost 16 and have problem with constipation.. and when the time comes for me to go "poo" i have pretty bad and painful cramps. I'm worried if those kind of cramps can affect my baby in anyway? Other than that i have no pain ,no bleeding, nothing. Just bad bad cramps while going to the toilet.. i tried everything but doesnt help, sometimes i go every other day but still very crampy and painfull .. is my baby totally safe no matter that?
