Questioning if partner has had a vasectomy ?!

Hi All!

This may make me sound a little crazy ! So please don’t think that 🤣

My partner and I have been trying for a baby for around 18 months, and haven’t been successful yet! I have a seven year old and he has a six and nine year old from our previous relationships.

He tells me he wants a baby with me but won’t go get any fertility checks or anything he says “we shouldn’t push it if its-meant to be it will be”

Ive had tests and scans and everything seems okay from my end.

I have asked him if he has had a vasectomy and he has said no. I’ve got some trust issues from being cheated on and lied to a lot and I know it makes me seem bad for questioning him but I just don’t know why we haven’t fallen yet when we’ve both had kids before?

I know a lot of people wait years and I don’t want to sound like a brat but sometimes I feel like he is just saying he would have a baby just to make me feel better :/

Is there any way I could actually tell if he has had one? Or is 18 months a realistic time Frame to wait?
