Ovulation pain

Hi everyone, I need your opinion! I am ttc for baby number 2. I am always having an ovulation pain, for the 2 last cycles I use test and the test became positive several hours prior to pain. I was thinking for that cycle I was pregnant and because I was out of tests I tried an ovulation test and it was a very dark line ,one bit lighter from the control line. Today I got my period. I always have 27-28 days cycle with ovulation on 10-12 day. Is there a possibility to ovulate again in the same cycle? And a second question with my first baby I never test or something I had my ovulation pain and because I was traveling with work I had sex 3 days after this pain and I have conceive my son. Do you try to conceive after your ovulation day???
