Would you TTC in March and April if your due dates would fall on Thanksgiving and Christmas?

The due dates are literally ON Thanksgiving and Christmas. Totally not ideal but I’m also 33 (almost 34) and don’t want to wait too long. We are so grateful to have conceived our daughter the first month of trying and of course no guarantees that this time will be as fast, but it is always possible.

The chances of going on your due date are very small.  Plus the date of thanksgiving changes each year.  My mom went two weeks overdue and her water broke at Easter breakfast once 🤣it’s just a fun story now

I was trying to get pregnant when I got pregnant in April but we started trying 2 months before that, its not likely you will get pregnant the month you start trying. But my due date ended up being the 26th of December but I had him on the 22nd via c-section because he was breech. Chances are you won't have your baby on your due date either way.

It took over a year to conceive my son after a mc so I definitely wouldn’t let the possible due date change when we were trying. My little guy’s about to be 2mo and I’m already worried about it potentially taking another 2 years once we start trying for baby #2 😂.

We were ttc for 19 months so we didn’t skip those months. We ended up getting pregnant in March and we were due 12/9 but ended up having him 11/22. 
Whenever we try for another we’ll probably wait past those months just so there’s some space between birthdays and because I didn’t necessarily want a baby born in dec lol so I’ll probably avoid it if possible the next time by starting to try AFTER those months and then if it takes that long again I’ll just let it be lol

Christmas Day is actually one of the least likely days babies will be born as they generally avoid scheduling elective inductions or elective c-sections on this date and it’s only really the babies that are naturally born on this date or require emergency c-sections or inductions for medical reasons. 
That being said, we did avoid a Christmas/New Year baby for our first (as the due date would have been between the two dates). We didn’t bother avoiding any other dates. For our second we didn’t bother as we just wanted a baby ASAP!
A friend of mine timed to avoid a Christmas baby and was due in late Jan- she ended up having her baby early and it was born on Boxing Day!

Chances of you getting pregnant when you try is slim for anyone it takes year of trying for alot of couples healthy that also it's not always full proof your baby will be born around then because medical issues can come up and need born earlier

We got pregnant in March/April of 2019 after trying for a while and finally conceiving with a little help. We didn’t care about the due date, it didn’t stop us with the possibility of a Christmas baby. Our daughter was born December 23rd, just before Christmas

My daughters bday is Nov27, so it is either before, after, or the day of thanksgiving quite often. It doesn’t change anything imo.
