1 day post retrieval :/

Received a call from the embryologist this morning to tell me that I had 8 eggs retrieved and none of them are mature. 😭 one has already deteriorated. He said they are going to watch them overnight and call again tomorrow but the likelihood of them maturing is low.

I’m devastated. Has anyone else had this happen and the eggs matured by day 2?

No idea what to do. I don’t know if I want to go through another round of stims, if I should change doctors, take a break? Ahhh.

Update!! My doctor called today and overnight I actually had three eggs mature, they are behind in the process but she said she’s still hopeful. We will have an idea tomorrow if they end up fertilizing!
