Should I be upset that my boyfriend is constantly calling models and celebrities attractive and the ‘most beautiful person in the world’. I feel stupid for being upset and hurt by it but I can’t help it. Am I being over dramatic?

Why does he need to constantly be talking about these women and especially to you? You’re not wrong for being upset. You’re allowed to discuss boundaries in your relationship. Tell him you think that talk is disrespectful and you don’t want to hear it anymore.

Your feelings are totally valid. I mean, I can see how that’s annoying/hurtful. It could be a blow to the ego and make you feel compared to, even tho he probably doesn’t mean it like that. You could mention that it hurts your feelings or something. He most likely won’t have the opportunity to leave you for one, right? Lol. I would be like, ok shut up already if my husband did that all the time.

yes and no. Celebrities are made to be beautiful. It’s not wrong to admire beautiful things and people. But you should speak up and let him know it makes you feel bad because your feelings are 100% valid

I’m sure he doesn’t mean it in a bad way but if you don’t like it, you should say something. You don’t have to be confrontational about it just say something like, “It makes me kind of sad/mad/upset when you say that because ______. Would you mind using different language?”
