Contact napping question.

Does it ever end? My LO is 9 months old and has gotten into the habit of contact napping when she is home but she goes down for naps just fine when she is at daycare. I’ve tried having my husband lay her down for naps but she just refuses and throws and ever loving fit. I really do enjoy the snuggles but sometimes it would be nice to do house work during her naps, any tips on how to break this cycle or do they eventually grow out of it? I can’t imagine holding a 1-2 year old for a 1.5-2 hour nap🥴
