What was it like having sex your first time postpartum?

I hit 6 weeks today and although we are still waiting until after my doctors appointment on Monday, I and nervous about having sex again. I had a fairly mild recovery, didn't even year, and my vagina looks and feels almost completely normal aside from some soreness still in my urethra from the catheter. But I'm still a little nervous

Feeling like the old ball here. After my first natural delivery had sex right at 6 weeks pp and was completely fine. My stitches had healed in that time. After my second baby c section we resumed at only 10 days pp. Again, everything was fine and felt normal.

Not gonna lie, the first time I had sex post partum, I felt realllll loose. Like, I could barely feel the penis inside me 😅

It hurt!!!!! I was tighter then before 😂 I still am at almost a year pp. I don’t think we had sex until maybe 2 months pp. I had to have stitches though.

I got lucky. I had sex at 6 weeks exactly both times with no pain at all. I had a 2nd degree tear with my 1st and only needed 1 stitch with my 2nd.

It was so tight for me that it was hard to get his penis in. And I had an emergency csection I didn't get any stichrs or anything on my vulva or vagina. That tightness was probably all the hormones playing and my mind knowing that altough I want to have fun, baby can start crying every moment...
So I suggest lots of lube and looong foreplay.

It will feel weird and hurt down there it sort of felt loosing your virginity again but there’s no bleeding at least that’s how it felt for me. I was nervous too after having a baby and then going back to having sex.
