Cracked nipples
I just noticed today my nipples are starting to crack and there was some dry blood on them. Every time my baby feeds it's still sooo painful!! She seems to have a good latch but OMG does it hurt!! The pain is bad initially then eventually becomes tolerable but it's never pain free. How do I know if this is from a bad latch or because it's only my 3rd day breastfeeding?? Also I'm curious how long people are feeding their newborn babys? My daughter is 3 days old and I've been trying to do 15 min on each breast.
