Formula + breastmilk

Okay mamas I’m a ftm

I was just breastfeeding until she was a week old and admitted into the hospital for extreme jaundice so they asked me to pump and supplement with formula the rest needed. I thought this was the way to go so I’ve been doing this for 8 weeks now.

I start work next week and only have one bag of frozen milk.

I pump at work ofc so I was thinking of adding 1-2oz of breast milk to each bottle needed and adding formula to equal the amount she drinks.

Say she drinks 4 oz she’ll get half breastmilk, half formula. According to what I pump.

Does this sound right? I’ll use whatever I pump the day before and spilt them between all 3 bottles needed and add formula to equal the rest.

Just until I get my supply up? Which I’m desperately trying to do. I’ve spent so much money on pills, brownies from milky

Mama, and drops but I’m just having trouble but today was the first day I started pumping more than an ounce or .5 ounces so fingers crossed.

But does this sound about right?
