Producing Just enough milk but mama needs sleep

T.L

Note : she is only 2weeks old

So I am strictly breast-feeding currently it’s a lot harder than I expected however according to my pediatrician she’s gaining good weight and getting all the nutrients she needs and doesn’t need formula. I’m feeding her about every hour and a half. Everyone tells me I need to rest but I don’t know how that’s possible if I’m waking up in an hour and a half to feed her mind you it takes me about 45 minutes to fall asleep.

I really want to breast-feed her but I’m just wondering how I’m supposed to do that and get to sleep at the same time. I’ll be happy with 2-3 hours literally . Also if you’re supposed to stimulate your nipples every hour and a half to keep breastmilk flowing will that affect it? how long could it take for my milk to start overproducing a little bit just so I could have enough extra in the fridge for someone else to feed her and watch her for a couple hours a day? How long did it take you to notice your milk supply increase? I’m doing everything under the sun... I ordered lactation cookies, drinking teas that helps increase it, 2 L of water a day,

the only thing I’m not doing is getting sleep because I don’t really have a choice.
