Should the US government pay for people to stay home to avoid Covid? I feel like if they are all urging us to stay home then they should compensate us for having to stay home..not everyone has the option to miss work (I for one don’t)

I feel if we were compensated and no one had to worry about evictions, food, childcare etc during this time, the Pandemic might be gone much quicker. People are catching it from their workplaces, due to having to work to provide for their family. Yes there is Covid relief but much of the time that takes months to receive.

Hopefully this doesn’t get moved to politics
