Dachshund is an obsessive licker!

I know it’s semi normal for dogs to lick their owners but mine licks me any chance he gets. He seems like he has high anxiety. I let him lick my legs and feet because I read somewhere that it relaxes them so I figured why not it doesn’t hurt me. But I’m wondering if I should take him to the vet or maybe call the vet? Is this normal dachshund behavior? He licks the carpet, blankets, the couch, every single thing possible. I give him frozen kongs with peanut butter, treats, bones, and I give him a treat puzzle that’s an interactive toy. Just wondering what else I can do.
