How many parents let their kids go to school?

I have a 5 and 4 year old and they haven’t been in school due to the virus they been doing online learning but because it’s already half the year I can send them back if I want too but just seeing how many other parents are sending their little ones to school??

We have been going to school all school year in person ( daughter is 9 in 4th grade). No issues and only two cases this whole school year in her school

I believe my kids will start going back the middle/end of this month (or so we’ve been told)
They are 2nd and 5th grade.
Honestly at this point I’m ready.
My kids are miserable and my little one is loosing interest in school because she’s so hands on.
They need this for their mental health.

My husband’s ex put their daughter in preschool (she’s in kindergarten) because she didn’t want to deal with her during the day, he even told her if she just needs a break their daughter could stay at our house during the week and she could have her on the weekends because he didn’t want her to go to school and be exposed to covid. She signed her up anyway, and here we are 2-3 weeks into the preschool year and the school is already being shut down for 2 weeks because a couple people brought covid in🙄 I’d understand if she had absolutely no choice but she did it just because. The preschool’s website says they social distance and everything but my stepdaughter told me that the teachers let them sit wherever they want and they sit and talk with their friends at lunchtime. Sorry this was kind of more like a rant😅

My 10-year-old 5th grader has been there in person all year without issue. But we’ve had less than 10 cases in our entire county for the duration of the pandemic, no hospitalizations. No cases in any school in our area so far... I guess it depends on where you live.

My big kids are in high school so I let them choose.  One chose to be home, the other attends in person instruction

Yes! My step daughter is only in kindergarten and we had to do a week of online and ugh she’s soo bossy and rude I just can’t do it. She does much better in a classroom setting, and I need the break. Lol 😝

My son has been physically going all year. The school did a phenomenal job preparing for it (the started two weeks late for extra prep time). We have had no issues except for a week of eLearning because they had too many teachers in quarantine (not positive) around Christmas but other than that.

My son went to playgroup for 4 weeks in October 2020 pulled him out as it got quite bad where I live, but he’s asking to go back now so he’s going back in March. I’m nervous but he’s asking so not much I can do x

Our son is 4. He would have started preschool back in August but because of COVID and me being pregnant at the time, we decided not to start school this year. Now that baby is here, we will still probably just not do preschool and increase the risk. Our state does not require preschool so hopefully by next year, it will be better. If not, I may just homeschool him.
