Long story short, my husband travels a lot for work, so it’s been hard for me to have a steady, full-time job. He makes sure he’s taken care of as far as his health goes. He has yearly check-ups, gets his teeth cleaned every 6 months, I’ve been having some health issues that need to be addressed, and he will not put me on his insurance. I haven’t had my teeth cleaned in two years and haven’t had a physical in 3 years, but he always makes sure he is up to date with his. We can’t afford to pay out of pocket for most services. It just hurts me and baffles me..

EDIT. I wanted to add, he tells me that there are programs and medical services for women that are free and cheap, and they don’t have many options like that for men. He can afford it, I guess the MFer just doesn’t want to spend the additional money. Obviously, he only cares about himself, so there’s that. I’m staying anonymous because I’m embarrassed..

Edit: No, sadly I’m not a Troll. This would be a pretty fucked up and sad story to make up. It’s real life BS. I already know it’s fucked up, just had to hear it from someone else.

I had my last Pap and blood work done in 2018, and the doctors office I went to waived the cost of those. I have since moved 4 hours away.

I wanted to add that I’m not working at the moment since we’ve traveled around a lot, and it’s only for a couple to a few months at a time. I’m a dumbass and I quit a job I had for 10 years when we got married. I had great benefits there. I allowed this to fucking happen.
